Background thoughts:

Our current times have created many reasons for people to feel alone, isolated, or even abandoned. Restrictions related to COVID-19 concerns have changed our typical interactions and affected fellowship with other believers. At the same time, social tensions have produced challenging levels of concern and unrest. Relationships among followers of Christ can become strained as we all try to process these present realities.

As always, the Scriptures identify the problem and provide the solution. Yet so often we have not kept His Word, and we have denied His name. The solution calls for an abandonment of self-preservation and a willingness to seek divine approval more than personal comfort.
